Why does Deep Freeze disable hibernation?

Update:

As of Deep Freeze, 8.70 hibernation is supported in the product. Customers who update to the latest release will be able to take advantage of hibernation and other features of windows that rely on that functionality.

Hibernation is disabled by Deep Freeze as hibernate will not work correctly with Deep Freeze installed.

A hibernation state is a state where the current state of the workstation is saved to the hard disk drive and the computer is powered off. If this was done with Deep Freeze installed, the current state would be lost on restart. Deep Freeze will allow standby and other power saving states that do not rely on saving data to the hard disk.
