Deep Freeze Mac & Early 2011 MacBook Pro’s running Apple SSD's

We have identified an issue with Deep Freeze Mac and the early 2011 MacBook pro’s equipped with solid state disks supplied by Apple that will result in loss of data on the disk when Deep Freeze Mac is installed. This issue is occurring due to the the introduction of support for the ATA TRIM command on specific builds of Mac OS 10.6 on the newer Thunderbolt enabled MacBook Pro’s.

If you are not running an SSD Device in your MacBook Pro this issue will not affect your machine.

At this time we recommend customers with the early 2011 MacBook Pro’s running Apple supplied SSD Drives hold off on installing Deep Freeze Mac on their system until we have issued an updated version of the software to address this issue.
