Antivirus Software & Deep Freeze Enterprise / Deep Freeze Standard

This document will detail the required exceptions that need to be in place for the operation of the Deep Freeze product on a client system.

The way that Deep Freeze interfaces with client systems may cause some antivirus software to flag the application as suspicious resulting in unexpected behavior.

To ensure the proper operation of Deep Freeze the following folders, any files that they contain, as well as the specific files listed need to be configured as exceptions in your Antivirus Software;

Deep Freeze Enterprise (Enterprise Console & Configuration Admin).

Further to these exceptions, any 3rd party security software should be disabled when updating or installing Deep Freeze components on a client system.
