What is the relationship between Faronics Deploy and Deep Freeze?

Faronics Deploy and Deep Freeze are two different products designed with different goals in mind.

Deep Freeze and the Deep Freeze Cloud platform are designed around the concept of taking a computer and setting it into a state where it can be quickly rebooted and restored back to a known good configuration to ensure consistent user experience. The primary focus of these products is to provide management of the systems through policy-driven automation of common tasks. 

Faronics Deploy is a SAAS platform designed to provide an on-demand approach to application management, allowing for real-time feedback as actions are taken. 

Both platforms can perform largely the same tasks, with some differences in the approach taken to complete those tasks.

At this time Faronics Deploy is not compatible with Deep Freeze and cannot be used to update applications on machines running Deep Freeze.
