Faronics Antivirus provides the option to allow antivirus updates to apply to a system even while in the Frozen (protected) state
While some 3rd party antivirus software may be capable of being configured in a similar manner Faronics neither recommends or provides support for configuring 3rd party antivirus software other than through a Scheduled Maintenance Period.
