Deep Freeze Mac & ARD 3.7

This document details changes made to the Deep Freeze Mac install package designed to address changes in Apple Remote Desktop 3.7

Apple with the release of ARD 3.7 has changed the software to run within a sandbox in the operating system. This is something they have done to increase the security and stability of applications running on OSX. This change however has required that Faronics require that the computer be restarted after the installation of the Deep Freeze Mac tasks into ARD 3.7. This restart must occur before either the Deep Freeze Remote application or the ARD Console is run on the workstation.

This restart is only required if ARD 3.7 is detected as installed on the system, if ARD 3.6 is installed no restart is required.
