When installing Insight 11 on client devices running on Virtual Machines customers may encounter incidents when the installer displays a white screen without the installer UI as shown below.
This issue can occur when 3D Acceleration is not enabled in the virtual machine configuration.
To properly display the installer Insight will require that 3D Acceleration be enabled in the configuration of the Virtual Machine.
In ESXi Server this option is shown below;
On VMware Workstation the setting is in the Display options for each virtual machine as shown below;
