Faronics is happy to announce the release of Deep Freeze Mac 7.0.
This release is a major update that incorporates support for systems running macOS that are using the APFS file system.
As the 7.0 release only provides support for systems running APFS Customers downloading this update will find that the installer contains the files for Deep Freeze Mac 7.0 as well as the previous release of the product to provide support for older operating systems running on the older macOS file system.
As this release is a major release we strongly recommend that customers review the user documentation and test the product out fully as there are a number of changes to the behavior of the product that you should beaware of before deploying. At this time this release is only for our on-premise customers. Our team are still working on implementing this update in our cloud based solutions, we will provide further updates as that occurs.
Customers can download the updated release of Deep Freeze Mac from our Faronics Labs portal or the Faronics Customer Center for our international customers.
