During the process of upgrading to Insight version 11 customers who were running previous versions of Insight may see an error message indicating that the system could not be updated to the latest release.
This can happen due to registry entries remaining left behind on client systems over time as updates from one version to the next are performed. For customers who have uninstalled the Insight 8, or Insight 9 version of the software from the client system and are seeing errors indicating that an upgrade cannot be completed the utility linked below can be used to remove remnants of Insight from the system to allow Insight 11 to install properly.
Please note - this utility will not remove an installed copy of Insight - if you are having issues with the process of uninstalling the existing copy of Insight please raise a support ticket via email to support@faronics.com for asssitance.
