Network Restrctions not respected when running WINSelect on Windows 8.1

On some machines running Windows 8.1 customers may find that IE 11 does not respect some network restrictions put in place by WINSelect.


Solution:

To resolve this issue the following Windows updates should be installed:

  • Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2887595)
  • Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2909921)
Note: WINSelect must be disabled during the install of these updates.
