System Profiler, when installed on Faronics Core 3.7x or higher may fail to generate reports.

System Profiler 2.30 when installed with Faronics Core 3.7x and higher may fail to sucesfully generate reports through the Core Console. The report will appear to start running, but will never finish being generated.


This issue is resolved with a updated DLL file for the System Profiler product. To replace the DLL follow the steps below:

  1. Stop Faronics Core Server in the Services.MSC snapin.
  2. Close Faronics Core Console
  3. Replace file under following two locations: 
    1. C:\ProgramData\Faronics\Faronics Core 3\Console\loadins\SystemProfiler-2.30.2100.148
    2. C:\Program Files (x86)\Faronics\Faronics Core 3\Loadins\System Profiler
  4. Reboot the server.
  5. Start the Faronics Core Console, you should now be able to run reports.
