Power Save can save a copy of any open document in a supported application prior to shutting down a computer. The user will be notified of the location of the saved documents once the computer is powered on.

Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes applications are currently supported.

What about other application? For example, if i have an autocad application running and the file is yet to be saved. I left my PCs for an hour, will PS shut down the computer without saving the autocad file?

At this time the software only supports Microsoft Office applications and Lotus notes, if your are concerned about loosing data in Autocad you can configure Power Save to prevent the system from sleeping when Autocad is running. Alternatively you can configure Power Save to only put the computer to sleep - sleeping the computer will not result in the loss of data.
